Vienna Mandala
This design will depict buildings, landmarks, specialities, colors and moods of Vienna in elegant shades of cream, coffee, gold, blues, greens and marble colors.
Imagine a late afternoon in August, strolling through the streets of WIEN - looking at the historical buildings, the upscale shops, hearing the clicker of horsefeet in front of a FIAKER (coach) and stopping in one of the old-fashioned, plushy cafe-houses for a cup of hot brown coffee with whipped cream, later joining a ceremonial bal in the palace of BELVEDERE under candelabras of crystal....

Adam & Eve Sampler
Adam and Eve are in the Paradise together with the animals - that lion looks cute with his mane of special stitches, sheep are blackworked "in the wool", a peacock is brocaded with silks and metallics, the snake is "over one" - the fruit tree beadwork - lots of Special Stitches and the use of many different threads makes this piece interesting in theme and materials.

The thread usage listed on the materials list is for the number of stitches only. It does not allow for personal stitching styles, stopping and starting, waste, etc., so we believe that the additional skein will be needed. Illuminated Medieval Sampler
Châtelaine Online Class IX features an ornate color-changing border as well as tournament columns, a Unicorn under an arch, medieval plants from an herb book as well as a Mandala-style garden with turf beads and herb ornaments. There are peacocks and a Lady with her Knight in Armour. An Alphabet with intricate gold overlay will be provided for your initials. Though you see the picture here on black, it can be worked on many different background colors.

Japanese Octagon Box
Online Class XI features a Japanese Octagon Box with a landscape with Mount Fuji as well as Bonsai trees, and a seasonal change of trees in the landscape.
